“Sacraments are a visible sign of God’s invisible grace” (St. Augustine).
The Sacrament of Marriage is one way that many Catholics live out their Baptism in service to the world as a spouse and potential parent. This life-long partnership of love finds its source in God’s love for us; the commitment of husbands and wives to be exclusively faithful to one another, generously loving “in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, whether rich or poor,” and to be open to the gift of new life from God in the blessing of children born to them or adopted by them is a sign of God’s abundant love for the world.
Please contact the Rectory at 503- 285-4539 and you will be connected with one of the priests to set up a meeting to begin Marriage Preparation. In that meeting, a wedding date can be set 6-8 months in the future and the process will be explained.
